Majic Majic is an app by Newdevz that writes Facebook Page posts in your brand's voice and posts or schedules them for you. This policy explains what Majic does with your information. In short: your data stays on your device, and Majic only posts what you approve.
What Majic stores, and where
- On your device only: your business description, brand voice settings, drafts, posting times, the list of connected Pages, and any AI keys you add. Sign-in tokens and keys are kept in your device's secure storage (Android Keystore, Apple Keychain, Windows Credential Locker).
- Newdevz does not run a database of your posts, Pages or Facebook account. We never see your Facebook password.
Facebook data
When you tap Continue with Facebook, Facebook asks you to allow Majic these permissions:
pages_show_list: to show the Pages you manage so you can pick one.pages_manage_posts: to publish and schedule the posts you approve on that Page.pages_read_engagement: to check whether a scheduled post has gone live and show it in your Library.
Majic uses this access only to do those things, only for the Pages you choose, and only when you ask it to. Majic does not read your personal profile, friends, messages or other people's data, and does not sell or share Facebook data.
Writing posts with AI
To write a post, Majic sends the text you give it (your business description, brand voice and topic) to an AI model. This is either Majic AI (a Newdevz service that forwards the request to Google Gemini and keeps no copy of the text) or the AI provider whose key you added yourself (for example Google, OpenAI or Anthropic), under that provider's own terms. No Facebook data is sent to AI providers.
Notifications
Reminders such as "your post is live" are scheduled on your device. They are not sent through our servers.
